CV & Biography

Biography :

I started dancing when he was six years old enjoying Modern Jazz dance. At the age of fourteen (2008), I entered at the Superior Dance School of Cannes Rosella Hightower (PNSD Rosella Hightower) where I was trained in Ballet and Contemporary. Meanwhile next to training dance techniques, I had the opportunity to receive different approach of the moving body-mind through Dance Movement Analysis classes and Feldenkrais.

At the age of  nineteen (2013), I integrated Codarts dance academy (Hogheschool voor den Kunsten) in Rotterdam. There I practiced various Modern Dance and Contemporary techniques. To enhance the power of the body-mind connection I started practicing yoga and dig deeper into improvisation as a method to find my own dancing as to use it for performative aspect.

Over the time I have become fascinated by the idea that art is essential and beneficial for a healthy society as it invites people to introspection and discoveries. As an artist I wishes to plant seeds in people’s body-minds, for those seeds to blossom and awake knowledge and love. I believe in love as power, and love coming from knowledge.

I focus, triggers and questions frictions existing in himself and in between him and his environment. I believe speaking the intimate, by communicating through raw flesh is an effective way to affect people’s body-mind. By receiving strong dance techniques bases plus by investigating for the body-mind relationship I as an interpret and a creator seek for an aesthetical (perceiving/feeling) and empathic physicality.

As a performer, I enjoyed the experience of being employed by the Görlitz-Zittau Stadttheater (Gehaart Hauptmann Theater) for four years and since August 2021 I started freelancing and performing in Munich, Berlin and Taiwan, both indoors and outdoors. Prior to that, during my education, I danced  around The Nethelands, thanks to Codarts, pieces from Amos Ben Tal, Joeri Dubbe and Ton Simons, I worked professionally with Julie Magneville in Bruxelles, Keren Rosenberg in Turin and as an apprentice in Aura Dance Theatre in Kaunas (Lithuania), I got the opportunity to dance in various projects.

*****

I share in knowledge in dance studios as a teacher and somatic workshop facilitator. Nowadays It started by animating movement research workshops and Contemporary and Classical Dance classes where the aim is to free the mind from the notion of form, challenge it with a layering of tasks and to be able to connect with a sense of curiosity and generosity in motion. I have been teaching in Lithuania and was invited to share the object of my research at the PNSD Rosella Hightower.
